Joe is a registered Chartered Architectural Technologist MCIAT, Fellow Chartered Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers C. Build E, FCABE, with full professional indemnity insurance, he is registered with Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland SCSI as an assigned certifier under the new building regulation requirements adhering to strict code of practice with his affiliation to these professional bodies
Joe Fallon has many years experience within the Construction Industry both in Ireland & Uk. Having completed college as an Architectural Technician 1988, he has worked for some large Architectural Practices most notably award wining practice Peter Legge & Assoc., in Dublin gaining experience in all aspects of Building Surveying & Architecture initally working on large pharmaceutical plants, but later specialising in one off houses, and home extensions, building condition reports & surveying. In 2005 further gained Bsc. Landscape Design. Joe is qualified BER energy rating assessor registered with Sustainable Energy Ireland and has had his work featured in PLAN magazine “Best of Irish Architecture”, along with various other publications for which he contributes.

Perry is a Registered Architect and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), with 40 years’ post-graduation experience having studied architecture at the Dublin Institute of Technology. He previously worked with practices in Dublin, London, Sydney, Moscow and in private practice with Heylin Kelly Architects delivering a range of building types including private & social residential, retail, educational, healthcare, industrial, recreational & sports, business parks and corporate office developments. He has a particular interested in sustainable design and conservation architecture.

BSc (Hons) Arch Tech, MSc
Born and raised near Johannesburg, South Africa, Eric moved to Ireland in 1999 and has been settled in rural Carlow since 2001. He graduated from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, with a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology, with experience in small and large scale design projects including domestic and residential design work, church refurbishment, cultural buildings and exhibition spaces. He later returned to ITC as a postgraduate, and completed an MSc in Renewable Energy.
Eric has experience working in a fire safety management consultancy in Dublin, where he gained experience in fire safety and universal access certificates, relating to Part B (Fire) and Part M (Universal Access) of the Building Regulations.
As part of the Joe Fallon Design team, Eric brings to life various designs using drafting and 3D modelling software. He employs his design flair, technical ability and renewable energy expertise in realising sustainable buildings that are not only suitable for the client, but for the surrounding environment as well.
BSc (Hons) Arch Tech
Michael graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with a 1.1 BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology, with experience in a variety of projects, including renovations and new build projects in both residential and commercial sectors. He joined the Joe Fallon Design team from MCR Engineering, and brings with him a strong emphasis on energy efficiency, sustainable design and attention to detail. Michael has experience in both domestic and large-scale housing developments, as well as landscape design.
Luke was born and raised in Poland, in 2006 he has moved to Ireland. He graduated from UCD School of Architecture where he studied under giants of Irish design such as John Tuomey and Peter Cody and left with experience in residential, industrial and public design. He has previously worked for other architectural firms where he has gained practical knowledge of design especially in regards to industrial and public projects.
At Joe Fallon Design Luke specialises in the design and the implementation of modern functional extensions with emphasis on marrying high quality design and comfortable and sustainable living. He also does 3D visualisations and producing presentations for clients.
Steve joined Joe Fallon Design after graduating from UCD School of Architecture in 2017. During his time in UCD Steve worked on a number of different projects, ranging in brief and scale, from domestic extensions to large scale town planning projects and gained experience in residential, public and landscape design. Steve developed a particular love of drawing and model making, both physical and digital and brings great attention to detail to all his work. Steve brings with him a passion for sustainable design and excellent drafting, 3D modelling and visual representation skills.
Matthew is a recent graduate of UCD school of architecture who has a keen interest in creating a sustainable, sensible and efficient built environment. Employing fresh ideas and concepts concerned with natural therapy, horticultural mindfulness, wellness and quality voluminous spaces.
Matthew’s designs revolve around blurring the boundaries between the interior and the exterior and keeping the natural world as a key design consideration.
Tim is a Graduate of University College Dublin with a Bsc(Hons) in Architecture where he was given a wide design experience in everything from landscape pavilions to School design in both commercial and domestic architecture. Tim has a passion for 3D modelling and graphic visualization alongside a desire to bring a sustainable aspect back into Irish Architecture.
Having joined the team in 2017 Tim has fitted seamlessly into the dynamic of the team, having brought with him a sense of hard work and desire to design something spacious, interesting and innovative to suit all projects.
Shane joined Joe Fallon Design in 2019 as an Architectural Technologist after graduating from Cork Institute of Technology with a BSc in Architectural Technology. During his four years in college Shane worked on a large number of theoretical projects in both the residential and commercial sector ranging from low cost high performance retrofits to new builds where sustainable design and conservation were big influencing themes for the work undertaken which Shane developed a passion for his designs.
Shane also gained practical experience as an Architectural Technologist after undertaking work experience with an structural engineer back home in Wexford in 2017, working on a variety of residential builds in both planning and design across Ireland.
After college, Shane went onto work for an steel fabrication company. During his time there, Shane worked on a large number of secondary steel commercial projects and was involved in both the design and fabrication end of these builds, honing his skills in critical detailing and access design.

Deirdre joins us from Danone Ireland, where she held position of Financial Controller. She brings a wealth of experience and management expertise to the team.
BSc (Hons) Const. Mgt. Eng., ICIOB
Lory is a project engineer with many years experience in various construction sectors. He is currently a consultant to Joe Fallon Design in the areas of surveying, project management and site monitoring duties, and health and safety (PSDP) on behalf of clients and contractors.
Previously, he was a project manager with Lafferty Project Management, where he was assistant project manager for the Dublin Central Retail Project, a 5-acre regeneration project located north of the General Post Office in Dublin city centre. The project involved facade retention, demolition, conservation, major excavation, deep basement and high-rise construction. Lory has also worked as a site supervisor for BAM (previously Rohcon) on the construction of major construction works in Ireland.

Tom is a consultant engineer for Joe Fallon Design with many years experience. He is also currently the Managing Director of ONCE Civil and Structural Ltd. Tom specialises in structural design and project management of various residential and commercial construction projects, large-scale residential and commercial developments, and the structural renovation of historic and listed buildings. He is also involved in fire safety consultation. Tom has given numerous talks to industry professionals on the ever-changing building regulations, particularly Part L (Energy Efficiency).
