The brief was to take an ordinary three bedroom bungalow and turn it through 180 degrees, in order to maximise daylight, sunlight, and reconnect with the garden and the surrounding sea-side town. The entire arrangement of the interior was reconsidered, using the new living space in the extension as the anchor, allowing everything else to flow from that. A new entrance was created, and the middle of the home opened upwards to bring in light and space. A mezzanine was added overlooking the living space. The home-owners’ eye for colour and detail makes the interiors come to life, providing a beautiful, tranquil and bright home.
